‘American Gods’ will have third season. This has been confirmed from the Starz channel, responsible for producing the series that is distributed internationally thanks to Amazon Prime Video. After premiering the second season with great success, the fiction will feature new episodes that will suffer led by a new executive producer.
As TV Line reports, Charles “Chic” Eglee, screenwriter and producer behind productions such as ‘Dexter’ and ‘The Walking Dead’, will be the showrunner of this new batch of chapters. Neil Gaiman, creator of the original book, has assured that he is proud of the choice made:
“I love that ‘American Gods’ has been renewed for a third season and it is even more exciting to work with Chic Eglee. He is the best possible companion. We have worked for weeks shaping the new season and I am delighted to carry the torch of the American gods to glory. ”
Starz programming chief Carmi Zlotnik has also dedicated a few words to the new figure in command of ‘American Gods’:
“With Chic on board, the contribution of Neil Gaiman and the undeniable talent of the cast and the entire team, we know that the series will continue to fulfill the vision and promises of the novel.”
